Kai Koenig
Kai is a German Software Solutions Architect living in New Zealand by choice but working internationally. He’s the founder and director of Ventego Creative in Wellington, providing various services for Adobe’s Flash platform and other web technologies. Before that he spent a few years working as a Software Solutions Architect for Marcomedia and Adobe partner companies in Europe and New Zealand.
Kai started his Adobe career some years ago when using Dreamweaver 2 to build HTML web pages during an university class. From there he lectured Java at the university before moving into software development using ColdFusion, Java, Flex, AIR and other technologies.
Kai is an Advanced Certified ColdFusion Developer and Adobe Master Instructor for the Flex, ColdFusion, Connect and LiveCycle curriculum. He holds a MSc degree in Maths and Computer Science and enjoys the dark arts of writing compilers and functional programming.
Besides that Kai is blogging as Agent K in Blog in Black, regularly publishing reviews and technical articles on Adobe technology in several IT magazines and enjoying his life in New Zealand jointly with his wife Diane.
As well as speaking at the conference, Kai will be running a half-day workshop on Adobe Air Bootcamp 101.
